Dear Parents
As we reach the end of term, it feels right to pause and take stock of what has been a joyful and memorable final fortnight at Cranford - a fitting close to a term marked by energy, kindness and a strong sense of community.
Our Christmas celebrations have been a particular highlight. The Reception crib service was a delight- full of warmth, confidence and the unmistakable magic that only our youngest pupils can bring (please see the pictures from the Crib Service here). It was followed by simply wonderful Senior and Junior Carol Services at Dorchester Abbey, where exceptional musicianship and beautifully delivered readings filled the space. Our pupils showed real poise and composure, and the spirit of Christmas, and of Cranford, was on full display.

Please do take a moment to view the pictures from these events - Junior Carol Service photos and Senior Carol Service photos.
One of the great treats of the season was our Christmas 5km run. With close to 200 pupils taking part, it had all the feel of a true Christmas adventure. It was a pleasure to see pupils from across the Junior and Senior School encouraging one another, cheering each other on, and demonstrating generosity of spirit alongside impressive athleticism.
The Junior School trip to the pantomime in Reading was, quite simply, enormous fun. There were plenty of very happy faces - and special congratulations to Mr King on his now traditional annual appearance on stage. A standout performance, once again!
Today has rounded off the term perfectly, with House Music filling the school with Christmas songs and good humour, followed by a joyful final assembly sharing highlights from the many events of the past two weeks. It has been a wonderful reminder of the talent, enthusiasm and togetherness that define our community.
Please do take a moment to look at our week in pictures.
As we break for the holidays, I would like to thank you for your continued support of the school this term. On behalf of us all at Cranford, I wish you a very merry Christmas and a restful, happy break with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year.
With Best Wishes
