Firstly, my thanks to all the parents who were able to join us for last night’s Sixth Form Parents’ Forum.

As we continue to develop our plans for 2020, we are pleased to be able to share our vision with parents and to work together with pupils and the whole community to shape an excellent Sixth Form provision that reflects the needs of our school. I look forward to sharing some more detail with you next week on the issues discussed at last night’s event, as well as informing you about dates for forthcoming Parents’ Forums in the Summer Term. If you do have any thoughts or questions regarding our Sixth Form or, indeed, any aspects of our 2020 plans, please do get in touch with me directly. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that we develop the school to reflect the needs of the whole community and parent views are central to this process.

As always, it has been an exciting, eclectic week at school, taking in everything from tractor visits in Nursery and the arrival of our baby chicks in Year 2, to our annual Harry Potter Quiz, assorted sporting successes and the musical extravaganza that is Young Voices! Particular congratulations go to our talented Judo players who showed real grit and determination to bring home a slew of medals from the annual IAPS tournament last weekend. Many congratulations also to all of the pupils across the school who have been involved in fixtures over the last week. Notable successes include our Year 11 Netball team’s victory over Pangbourne and Year 10’s defeat of Langtree.

As I'm sure you are aware, next week we will be opening our doors for a Whole School Open Week. Please do come along between 9.30am to 3.00pm if you would like to look at the next stage of your child's education at Cranford House. We look forward to welcoming you into school

With best wishes
