Extra-Curricular Activities
All pupils at Cranford are encouraged to take part in our extensive programme of enrichment activities. These are specifically designed to develop self-confidence and a sense of achievement in meeting each new challenge.
All pupils play an active role in the extra-curricular life of the school. Our aim is to ensure that there is something for everyone – our clubs provision offers breadth, variety and most importantly lots of opportunities for pupils to have fun and challenge themselves at school.
“With over 100 clubs taking place in school each week, from Messy Science to Debating, Chess, Football, Hockey, Cricket, Dance, Arts & Craft and so much more besides our community is a hive of activity throughout the day,” Miss Culver, Assistant Director of Activities
“All pupils in Years 3-6 take part in weekly fixtures, providing opportunities to have fun, challenge themselves, develop friendships and skills for life. Pupils play fixtures in our five major sports (Football, Hockey, Cricket, Netball and Tennis) whilst enjoying a rich and broad PE curriculum, encompassing everything from Gymnastics and Swimming to Badminton and Invasion Games in Pre-School to Year 2. School sport is fun at Cranford from our sport-for-all ethos to levels of sporting excellence with pupils entering county or national sports programmes.”
Director of Sport, Mrs Sear
