Young Art Oxford Holly Beer

Cranford House artists enjoyed fantastic success this month as their artwork went on display in the Ashmolean Museum.

Pupils from Years 7 & 8 experienced the thrill of having their original works on public display, having been selected in this year's Young Art Oxford competition. With entries coming from around 50 schools all over the region on the theme of The World We Live In, 100 pictures were chosen for display in the Years 7-9 category, with nine Cranford winners among their midst - a spectacular result!

Congratulations go to Martha, Keira, Grace, Natalya, Jessica, Cleo, Honor and Natasha, with particular recognition going to Year 8's Holly who scooped the second prize overall with her beautiful painting of a chameleon (pictured above). Well done, all.
