Gymnastics Galore!

Our gymnasts have been incredibly busy over the last week thanks to two fantastic competitions.
First, a team of five girls from Years 6 to 9 took part in the GSA National Gymnastics Competition held at SHSK in Abingdon. They all acquitted themselves brilliantly and came home with a team 9th place; a superb achievement.
Just a few days later, they again took to the floor for Cranford House's very own Gymnastics Competition, which saw children from Years 1 through to Senior School showing off their considerable skills. A fantastic showcase for all the pupils' hard work and practice, the competition saw our youngest pupils performing on bench and floor, with the addition of beam, trampette and vault for older competitors. The discipline and skill on display, not to mention the respect shown to other competitors, was extremely heartening to witness. The event was rounded off as our elite gymnasts showcased their polished routines from the GSA competition.
